On August 31, 2026, COPPEAD Graduate School of Business at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) hosted the IV AIB-LAC Warm Up 2026, bringing together academics, researchers, and graduate students in International Business from Brazil and abroad.
In partnership with the Academy of International Business – Latin America and the Caribbean Chapter (AIB-LAC), the event provided a valuable forum for academic exchange and discussion on current global business challenges. The program opened with the roundtable “When the Rules Change: International Business in Times of Tensions, Shocks and Ambiguities”, followed by three parallel sessions featuring scholars from national and international institutions.
Researchers from the TSCOI project team also had the opportunity to present and discuss their research during the event, engaging with scholars and researchers from different institutions and receiving valuable feedback on their ongoing work. Their participation contributed to strengthening the project’s academic visibility and fostering international knowledge exchange within the International Business research community.
The event provided an important space for critical discussions on geopolitical dynamics, internationalization, and the changing global business environment, while strengthening academic connections and collaboration relevant to the TSCOI project’s research agenda.
