At School of Wine & Spirits Business, Dinora Floriani (Universidade do Vale do Itajaí) and Mariana Bassi-Suter (TBS Education) and their team (Mohamed Amal, Rosilene Marcon, Anete Alberton, Beatrice Maria Zanellato Fonseca Mayer) presented the initial results of the project “The interaction between time, sustainability and the Country-of-Origin Image (COI) in the internationalization of companies”, co-funded by Brazil and France. This cross-cultural project explores and compares the role of time, sustainable practices and the use of geographical indication (more specifically Country-of-Origin Image [COI]) in the internationalization process of Brazilian and French companies. Three industries are studied in this exploratory research: wine, aerospace and cocoa.
