In March 2026, the Academy of International Business – Latin America and the Caribbean Chapter (AIB-LAC) held its 16th Annual Conference at the Universidad de Lima, Peru, from March 3 to 5. The conference brought together researchers, doctoral students, and scholars from different countries to discuss current developments and challenges in the field of International Business, with a particular focus on Latin America and the Caribbean.
The event provided an important platform for the presentation and discussion of research developed by the TSCOI Team, including accepted papers presented during the conference by Prof. Dr. Dinorá Eliete Floriani, Prof. Dr. Mariana Bassi-Suter, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Amal, Prof. Dr. Rosilene Marcon, Prof. Dr. Beatrice Zanellato Mayer, and Prof. Dr. Cláudia Batschauer da Cruz. This participation contributed to the dissemination of the project’s research and provided an opportunity to exchange ideas and receive valuable feedback from an international academic audience.
The pre-conference program also included a Doctoral Consortium, in which our PhD student Angelica Patel da Rosa presented her ongoing research and received constructive feedback and mentoring from senior scholars. The Consortium provided an important opportunity to discuss the research project, reflect on its theoretical and methodological development, and engage in academic dialogue with other doctoral researchers and experienced scholars in the field.
